About
Virginia Beach native Andrew Yancey founded Tarnished Truth Distilling Company in 2013, in partnership with fellow Virginia native, Bruce Thompson, Gold Key | PHR CEO and founder, who led the renovation and revitalization of the Historic Cavalier Hotel. Tarnished Truth is the first and only distillery located in a hotel in the United States. Today, the distillery and its retail shop hold the #1 sales position for distillery stores in Virginia and visiting the distillery for a tour and tasting is listed as the #1 activity in Virginia Beach on TripAdvisor.
