River Hill Distillery

River Hill Distillery, founded in March 2014 by Fred and Amy Foley, is a family-owned operation located on their River Hill Farm just outside Luray, Virginia. Specializing in bourbon and corn whiskey, the distillery blends tradition with local craftsmanship, using ingredients raised on the farm or sourced from nearby. From the fields to the bottle, every spirit reflects the Foley family’s hands-on approach and commitment to quality.

In addition to running the distillery, the Foleys operate River Hill Stables, a horse-boarding service with public lodging, and raise beef for direct sale from the farm. Though small in scale, River Hill Distillery has earned a reputation for uniquely crafted whiskey, with Fred often personally signing bottles to connect with customers. Their mission is simple: to make exceptional whiskey for friends, neighbors, and visitors to enjoy straight from River Hill.
