Blue Shepherd Spirits

Blue Shepherd Spirits was created out of a passion for always wanting to create something better. The owner and distiller is a former Army combat medic that upon leaving the service became a Firefighter/Paramedic with Fairfax County Fire and Rescue. At the end of the night after a long day he enjoyed a nice bourbon and that got him thinking; how could he make his own, and make it better. The distillery is in a rehabbed 30 year old auto shop on Main Street in Luray Va. The doors opened to the public in August of 2022 and we are continuing our journey of making funky and non traditional spirits. Our Vodka has flavor, our Gin has minimal juniper, our Rum is spiced, and our whiskey is just getting started. With these spirits we change our cocktail menu up every month bringing out new creations to fit every palate, simple to complex.
