Chai Old-Fashioned

presented by Ironclad Distillery Co.

Ingredients:

2 oz Ironclad Bourbon Whiskey

1/2 oz vanilla-chai syrup

3 dashes Regans’ Orange Bitters

Garnish: Star anise pod

Preparation:

Combine all the ingredients in a mixing tin with ice and stir until chilled. Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice. Garnish.
Vanilla Chai Syrup: Steep 1 tsp. of loose chai and a split vanilla bean pod in 8 oz. of hot water for 3-5 minutes. Combine with an equal amount of brown sugar. Whisk until the sugar dissolves.
