Autumn Harvest, Featuring Copper Fox Distillery

Celebrate all things autumn with our Apple Butter, Pumpkin Butter, and Peachwood Single Malt cocktail. One sip and you’ll be transported to a burgeoning orchard on a crisp fall day. A perfect addition to Thanksgiving Dinner.

INGREDIENTS
1 ½ Tbs Pumpkin Butter
1/3 Tbs Apple Butter
2 oz Fresh Apple Cider
1oz Copper Fox Peachwood Single Malt Whisky
1 candied apple peel or cinnamon stick
Cinnamon sugar (for rim)

PREPARATION
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake well. 
Rim a rocks glass with cinnamon sugar and fill with ice. 
Strain from shaker over fresh ice. 
Garnish with a candied apple peel or cinnamon stick.

Smokey Wasmund, Featuring Copper Fox Distillery

Proprietor Rick Wasmund encourages this simple but impressive presentation of our signature American Hardwood Smoked Single Malt Whisky. For the most discerning drinkers this is sure to please.

INGREDIENTS
1 oz Wasmunds Single Malt Whisky
Toasted Wood Chips

PREPARATION
In a small bowl lightly char several toasted wood chips.
Place a Glen Cairn glass overtop the wood chips for approx 1 minute.
Turn the glass over and pour whisky into the smoky glass.

Sour Vixen, Featuring Copper Fox Distillery

Our sultry vixen combines pomegranate juice, lemon juice, and our Traditional Single Malt Whisky for a refreshing welcome to fall.

INGREDIENTS
1oz Pomegranate Juice
½ Fresh Squeezed Lemon plus 1 wedge
1oz Wasmund’s Single Malt Whisky
½ oz simple syrup

PREPARATION
Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice and shake. 
Fill a rocks glass with fresh ice. 
Strain shaker over fresh ice.
Garnish with a sprig of charred rosemary and lemon.

Winter is Coming, Featuring Copper Fox Distillery

A creamy flip to dance across your tongue and delight you with the flavors of the holidays. This gin inspired cocktail from Maggie will leave you looking for more!

INGREDIENTS
1 egg white
1oz Half & Half
1oz Copper Fox VirGin
1oz Cinnamon Anise Syrup
½ Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
Fresh nutmeg and lemon zest (twist)

PREPARATION
Add all ingredients to iced shaker and shake vigorously.
Prepare fresh glass with ice.
Grate fresh nutmeg and lemon zest over the top (or lemon twist).

Gimme Some Lovin’, featuring Copper Fox

A variation of an old favorite of ours from back in January 2017, the theme of the night was the music of Steve Winwood.

INGREDIENTS
Glassware: Libbey Chicago-Style Old Fashioned Glass (or any similar rocks glass)
Mixing Tin
1oz Copper Fox Rye
1oz Stone Ginger Wine
1oz House-made Blueberry Puree
Soda Water
Ice Cubes
Blueberries & Mint Leaves
Peachwood Chips
Butane Lighter

PREPARATION
1. Torch Peachwood Chips with a Butane Lighter. Place glassware on top of the torched Peachwood Chips, capturing the smoke inside the glass.
2. In a Mixing Tin, add ice, 1oz Copper Fox Rye Whiskey, 1oz Stone Ginger Wine, & 1oz House-made Blueberry Puree.
3. Shake the contents of the Mixing Tin.
4. Remove the glassware from the Peachwood Chips, and add the contents of the Mixing Tin to the glass.  Top with Soda Water.
5. Mint Leaf & Blueberry Garnish.

Flowering Vir Gin, featuring Copper Fox Distillery

This drink is full of innuendo, and perfect for a night out with friends. The herbal notes of Copper Fox Distillery’s Vir Gin play well with the floral notes of rose and chamomile; the whole affair is accented with orange, smoothed by vanilla, and a cherry to pop at the end.

INGREDIENTS
Vanilla Sugar
Morello Cherry
1.5 oz Rose-Chamomile Simple Syrup
1.5 oz Copper Fox Distillery’s Vir Gin
2 dashes Orange Bitters
Ice Cubes
Small Orange Peel

PREPARATION
Prepare a martini glass by moistening the rim with the cut end of an orange and dipping the rim in Vanilla Sugar, drop the Morello Cherry in the glass. Combine the Rose-Chamomile Syrup, Copper Fox Vir Gin, Orange Bitters, and Ice; stir for 20-25 seconds. Strain, neatly, into prepared glass. Squeeze the Orange Peel to spray oils onto the surface of the drink, drop peel into the drink.

The Fox and the Bloodhound, featuring Copper Fox Distillery

This drink is inspired by the classic Blood & Sand. The Blood Orange and the Copper Fox Rye inspire its name, and the beautiful reds and purples from a fresh blood orange make for an attractive hue.

INGREDIENTS
1.5 oz Minted Peach Puree, sweetened with Brown Sugar
1.5 oz Copper Fox Rye Whisky
Cracked Ice
Ice Cubes
Mint Leaf
Morello Cherry

PREPARATION
Place ice cubes in a lowball glass.
Shake Puree, Copper Fox Rye Whisky, and Cracked Ice.
Strain through a small strainer over the ice in the glass, being careful not to disturb the ice cubes.
Garnish gently with Mint Leaf and Morello Cherry

Stone Cold Fox, featuring Copper Fox Distillery

This drink, along with many items on our menus, brings with it a bit of sarcasm with a pun. The name alludes to the stone fruits, the mint, and of course, Copper Fox.

INGREDIENTS
Strip of Orange Peel
Morello Cherry
Ice
Juice of 1/2 blood orange
1.5 oz Copper Fox Rye
3/4 oz Heering Cherry Liqueur
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
1/2 tsp Morello Cherry soaking brandy/Kirsch

PREPARATION
Prepare garnish by skewering one and of the orange peel, then the cherry, and finally the other end of the orange peel, ensuring the orange side is out; place in a martini glass. Shake together the ice, blood orange juice, Copper Fox Rye Whisky, Heering Cherry Liqueur, simple syrup, and soaking brandy; pour through fine strainer into prepared glass.

Smoked New Fashioned, featuring Copper Fox Distillery

The Smoked New Fashioned is our twist on a classic bourbon Old Fashioned. Inspired by a love of bourbon and really wanting to showcase the char, smokiness of the Wasmund’s Single Malt Bourbon by Copper Fox Distillery, which just so happens to be minutes from our establishment.

INGREDIENTS
1 ½ oz Wasmund’s Single Malt Bourbon
1 oz Domaine de Canton liquor
½ oz Blanc Vermouth
2 Drops Orange Bitters

Shake and strain over ice Double Old Fashioned Glass Orange Twist
