Cloud Nine, featuring Cirrus Vodka

A well-made spirit doesn’t need much added to the glass. Working with the Cirrus Vodka I just wanted to add a bit of herbal and citrus flavors to create a light, refreshing and uplifting cocktail.

1 ounce white wine herb syrup
1.5 ounce Cirrus Vodka

Muddle flesh of one grapefruit segment. Add Scoop of ice shake to combine, pour into glass with tonic and garnish with sprig of rosemary.

1/2 ounce Rothman & Winter Pear Liqueur
1/2 ounce lime juice
1/2 ounce ginger syrup (equal parts fresh ginger juice and simple syrup blended in Vitamix)

Shake all ingredients and double strain into a coupe or martini glass. Garnish with a lime wheel.

Southern Squeeze, featuring Cirrus

A spin on a vodka or “spiked” lemonade but with a hint of watermelon to balance acidity and lemon/lime soda to provide slight effervescence. A perfect cocktail to enjoy in the shade of a covered patio on a hot summer afternoon.

1.5 oz Cirrus Vodka
1 oz Watermelon Simple Syrup
Freshly squeezed juice from half of a lemon
Lemon/Lime Soda (to top off)

Build all ingredients (except lemon/lime soda) into a mixing glass with ice and gently stir. Strain into a chilled rocks glass filled with ice and top off with lemon/lime soda. Give one final gentle stir. Garnish with a wheel or wedge of lemon.
