Turn You Back Into A Stranger, featuring Belle Isle Moonshine

A tasty moonshine mix.

INGREDIENTS
3 dashes of Peychaud’s bitters
3 dashes of orange bitters
1/4 Branca Menta
1/2 Cocchi Americano
1/2 Amaro Montenegro
1 1/2 Belle Isle Honey Habanero Moonshine

PREPARATION
Stir in a mixing glass 50-60 times. Pour in a chilled Nick and Nora glass. Add one orange twist.

Death Star Nog, featuring Belmont Farms

The Force is strong in this cocktail.

INGREDIENTS
One whole egg
20 dashes of cinnamon tincture or extract
7 dashes of Fee Brothers Black Walnut bitters
1 1/2 Belmont Farms Copper Kettle Chai Spiced Rum
1/2 2:1 demarara syrup
1 oz heavy cream

PREPARATION
Shake all the ingredients 30-40 times in a shaker without ice. Then add half a scoop of ice and shake 40 times. Pour in a chilled Nick and Nora glass and top with a little powdered cinnamon.

Melody Day, featuring Belle Isle Moonshine

Great for warm weather sipping.

INGREDIENTS
1/2 oz lemon juice
1/4 Creme de Cassis
1/4 Elderflower Syrup
1 1/2 Belle Isle Ruby Red Grapefruit Moonshine

PREPARATION
Shaken 20 times. Poured over ice in a Collins glass. Topped with dry sparkling wine and a lemon twist.

Pineapple Jerk, featuring Vitae Spirits

This cocktail was intended to capture all the feeling of grilling in the backyard on a hot summer day.

INGREDIENTS
2 oz Vitae Spirits Golden Rum
1 oz Jerk-spiked Pineapple Cordial
1/2 oz lemon
5 drops BBQ Bitters 

PREPARATION
Add all ingredients to a shaker, add ice and shake. Strain over fresh ice in a high ball or tiki glass. Garnish with quarter-folded orange wheel.

Blackberry Sage Fizz, featuring Catoctin Creek

This is my Bramble.

INGREDIENTS
1.5oz Watershed Gin
1/2 oz Averna Amaro 1oz Blackberry Sage Syrup
3/4 oz Lemon
4-6 dashes El Guapo’s Polynesian Kiss Bitters
Float of sparkling wine (I use Cava)

PREPARATION
Add all the ingredients except the sparkling wine to a shaker add ice and shake vigorously. Strain over fresh ice into a highball. It should leave about 5mm of room to add the float of cava. Garnish with a twist of lemon after generously expressing the oils.

Appalachian Spring, featuring Boar Creek

This cocktail is a simple whiskey smash with very little added to it.

INGREDIENTS
2 oz Boar Creek Appalachian Whiskey
1/2 oz Simple Syrup
5 drops Woodland Bitters
5-8 mint leaves 1 lemon wedge
Sparkling water 

PREPARATION
In a rocks glass, muddle the mint and lemon wedge with a light sprinkle of raw sugar. Add the whiskey, simple syrup, and bitters. Add ice and top with soda water. Roll the drink in a shaker and garnish with a lemon wheel.

Winnie the Booze, featuring Belle Isle Moonshine

If Winnie the Pooh were created today rather than mid-Prohibition, Belle Isle Honey Habanero would almost certainly be his honey of choice. 

INGREDIENTS
1.5 oz. Aperol
1.5 oz. Belle Isle Honey Habanero
.75 oz. Fresh Lemon Juice
Fresh basil for garnish

PREPARATION
Shake and strain over a king cube in a double old fashion glass, top with .5 oz Prosecco.
