This festive drink is beautiful to look at and even better to drink. With a hint of cranberry it is perfect to drink at all your upcoming holiday celebrations!
2 oz. Øster Vit
1 tsp cranberry syrup (purchased or prepared)
dash of herbal bitters
3 oz sparkling wine
To make syrup combine 6 oz of frozen or fresh cranberries, 1 cup of water and 3/4 cup of sugar in saucepan. Bring to a boil and then reduce heat and simmer until cranberries are falling apart (about 15 minutes). Strain and allow syrup to cool. Extra syrup can be stored in refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
Combine the Øster Vit, syrup and bitters in mixing glass. Strain to flute and top with sparkling wine.
